QDo you work with Special schools?: A Yes, we do. real PE helps support EVERY child to develop the physical literacy, emotional and thinking skills to achieve in PE, Sport and life. All our lessons and activities have inclusive options and as part of real PE membership you will have access to a wide range of supporting documents and videos to support you.
QCan you do real PE outside?: AYes, most of the real PE programme can be done either indoors or outdoors. Some elements lend themselves better to outdoors where more space is beneficial - in particular the Year 5/6 Core real PE activities from the final Unit (the summer term), but the vast majority can be done either indoors or outdoors.
QCan you implement real PE in school with mixed age classes?: Areal PE can easily be adapted for mixed year groups. The planning is intended to provide an overview for each year group with the ability to adapt and personalise based on the children you are working with, and their needs. Every lesson and activity are designed to have progression and differentiation built in, so children of different ages/stages can access the activities at a level that is right for them. As a practical example, if it was a mixed year 1 and 2 class, you could start the year off with year 1 content and halfway through the year switch to year 2 content. The learning goals would always be personalised to suit the learners’ progress.
